Question:
I am looking for a bradley childbirth class in the Seattle area. I lefta message at the 800-4a-birth number a few weeks ago but have yet toreceive anything in the mail. Does anyone know of anyone I can contact?

PLEASE - at 26 weeks I am getting worried that I won't get into a classin time. The class offered at my hospital would be better than nothing,but I really want to take a Bradley class.

Answer: Check the Yellow Pages under Childbirth Education -- lists the ChildbirthEducation Association of Seattle, the Seattle Holistic Center, etc. I neverknow exactly who is Bradley, who's ALACE, etc., but all these folks usuallyknow each other and can refer you around. Also, I believe I heard of a Bradleyclass to be offered soon at the Ballard Family Center -- call (206) 706-9645.

I took the Facts of Labor class at the Seattle Holistic Center and canrecommend it. I don't think they do a series, though, just lots of separatetopics that you can pick and choose from. May have changed though.
