My sister-in-law has Crohn's and she has decided to seek treatment through aNaturopath. She has gone off all traditional medicine and is only takingall natural things. He warned her that she would hit rock bottom and thenstart to "win the battle". HE claims that she will be cured soon. Well,she is in bed, anorexic, and need to be changed. She is fainting a lot andher legs are swollen. We are scared. Has anyone gone down this road? Ifso, please share how it went? The Naturopath warned us not to take her tothe hospital, or they would give her medicine and that might really harmher.

Answer: I've no experience with naturopathic medicine but I'd beworried; but then I more of a mainstream medicine person so I'mbiased.

If nothing else have you checked the credentials of hernaturopath? Is s/he licensed?
