Strep Throat Home Remedies?

I would like to know of any home remedies for strep throat. I know that it's a bacteria which must run it's course, but is there anything to help with the sore throat.

Answer: No home remedies. In fact, a home remedy is rather irresponsible. Go to the doctor and get a throat culture (you may not actually have strep throat), and if you DO have strep throat, they can prescribe an antibiotic (usually making you loads better in about 24 hours).

Viruses must run their course. Bacteria have antibiotics.Sure, chloraseptic, sucrets, warm salt water gargle,ibuprofen. A nice warm hot water bottle on the throat for a little while. It is really best to go see a doctor and get some antibiotics for the strep throat because it can develop into rheumatic fever and affect your heart.
