Question:
Kidney Stones- Any Holistic remedy to get rid of those darn stones?!?

Have read a remedy that reccommends drinking 6 cans of coke within 2 hours followed by 2 ounces of pureed asparagus.Also read about drinking 2 ounces of Olive oil mixed with 2 ounces lemon juice.Any truth in this?please help as my lover has been suffering with this problem for too long!! thank you and god bless the thing is he has been drinking lots of water to no effect...according to the above coke and asparagus remedy, the coke contains phosphoric acid which will break the stone and the asparagus acts as a diuretic flushing out the crystals..looking for anyone who has tried this or any other effective remedy...

Answer: Water.....lots and lots of water. You can take gout medication for Uric acid stones. It seems to help in some people. For calcium oxylate stones, your just screwed....lol, sorry. I have had them since I was a teenager. The latest info on keeping them at bay is orange juice. But mainly, just staying hydrated is key.
