You may have seen him in infomercials where he claims he has the answers to Americas Health woes...Kevin Mark Trudeau (born February 6, 1963) is an American author, pool player, salesman and alternative medicine advocate.[1] He is known for a number of television infomercials selling his products, and for several books, including the controversial Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You To Know About.Trudeau has had numerous interactions with the U.S. judicial system, including multiple fines and a larceny conviction.[2], and the FTC currently restricts his right to promote and sell a number of products, but allows him to promote books and other publications, due to free-speech protection under the First Amendment.

Such a trusting face, such knowledge about his product...but look at his Criminal history and legal problems.

Answer: I'm an ITV Ventures independent sales agent (itvventures.com/nvcmarketing)... and I have struggled with this myself because we sell his books through our infomercials and he is a good friend of the founder of our company. Since we stake our business on supplying reputable natural products for home and health, I had steered clear of taking orders for his books because of his "criminal" record. But I've talked with a lot of people about this, and I've calmed down. I personally still think that he's an opportunist and a bit of a con artist, but these books and his past ventures are not all that different than what Tony Robbins has done in the coaching industry. He's taken other people's ideas/programs and repackaged them. There truly is "nothing new under the sun" as they say, just new people to introduce it to. You've got to admit that he sure does know how to promote himself and make money. And there are thousands of people who swear by both this and his diet books.
