Question: Without going into incredible detail (I doubt if there's enough cyberspacefor that), my wife has been suffering from an undefined post nasal drip fromone spot in her nose...that is the most obvious symptom...this starting fromover a year ago after some bad dentistry and many rounds of anti-biotics fora chronic infection that was finally stopped by pulling the tooth. The bottom line is, that after sinus surgery (unnecessary), a week at MayoClinic, a trip to Sioux Falls, SD to a sinus specialist, the Michigan SinusCenter, and countless other doctor related visits, we are still left withthe same problems, only emotionally magnified by duration, depression, anxiety, insomnia and loss of work. Question: Is anybody aware of a naturopathic or holistic healing centeranywhere in North America that will take residential patients for weeks ormonths at a time. We're looking for a safe, effective place for her to getwell. Our home has, unfortunately, come to signify defeat and hopelessness, which is why we're trying to find neutral ground for her healing process.
Answer: You might try the Upledger Institute in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Dr.John Upledger is an osteopathic physician and a leader in holistichealth care. The Institute has physicians and healers of manybackgrounds on its staff, and I'm pretty sure that they take residentialpatients for long periods of time.
