What is holistic NVQ assessment?

Answer: this means covering performance criteria against several different if not all the units... for example an observation in care will cover most of the core units and should cover at least one of your optional units..if your assessor isnt doing this they are not very good assessors. also your work can and should be marked holistically, so it should have pc's from different units...again this depends on how good your assessor is...my advice would be to reference your own work as your doing it and then point it out to the assessor if she hasnt poicked them up.i hope that helpss a bit.
