Question: How many alternative medicine followers know their chemistry, biology, and history? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yn5ihrecj... And how many can comprehend simple ideas? Sure there's a lot, and it would be wrong to discredit herbs entirely. It would also be inaccurate to say that pharmaceuticals aren't trying to make a profit. But a cure-all has yet to be found, and calling pills ineffective and unsafe is just plain ignorant. If you don't have a valid proof that is. Lots of people don't seem to have that proof. They call school a brainwashing institute, and call science a form of propaganda, even though they haven't really gotten a form of education in the field. Even the basic ones. People just read a book, believe in it, and refuse to listen to those who would be an opposition.
Answer: You have some very good points here. I suppose it would depend on whether the practitioner is an old witch or a registered naturopath. I very much like the naturopathic principles, which are better mottos than what the drug corporations have now. I would especially caution people to steer clear from "Your doctors are lying to you" or from those miracle drugs. Used correctly, however, they can still do much good.
