Question: As you probably have heard homeopathic 'medicine can now label what ailmentsit is meant to cure. Do they have special dispensation from the sale of goods act or can they besued when it fails? If it's OK for homeopathy, is it OK for Lynx et al to make extravagantclaims too ?
Answer: I was appalled at this, the danger is not of course that people will beharmed by taking distilled water but that they will think a curativeeffect has been established and not take any further treatment forconditions. Did you see the recent report on iirc C4 news that high streethomeopaths, some in places like Boots, have sold people homeopathic'remedies' to prevent malaria when travelling and not told them to seekproper advice? I realise that such people are probably too stupid or credulous to livebut my taxes get used to treat their malaria when they return.
